Welcome to the fourth development log for Luna’s Little Star.
Since the last update, the main focus has been on the Battle Manager for the game. In previous versions of the game, players would only have the ability to target enemies, which had some serious limitations. Now players can target friendly units, which means that healing magic and buffs have become feasible.
Additionally, there has also been a small quality of life change to the battle scene, which has enabled players to see who is currently taking their turn. It’s currently a small elipse, however a more fitting pixel icon will eventually replace this.
There hasn’t been a huge amount to show for this update, but the possibilities that have been created from this are incredible. The next plans are to enable buffs and debuffs which will temporarily affect stats during a battle, and adding item usage to the battle scene.
